Posada Yum Kin - Tulum

The boutique hotel was charming and unique. I enjoyed staying in a beautifully decorated, spacious room with Mexican design. - the delicious breakfast included juices and scrambled eggs. - the rooftop area was lovely. - the location was perfect for exploring the quiet area near other hotels and restaurants in Tulum.

Staff was very nice, the design and set up of the hotel was very well done. Nice peaceful setting within walking distance to Tulum.

The hotel is located away from the main busy streets, giving it a peaceful atmosphere. It is nestled next to the jungle, providing a unique and authentic experience for guests. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with amenities such as a kitchen in some suites. The staff is friendly and provides excellent service, including calling taxis when needed. The breakfast is delicious, with options like fresh fruit and juices.

Some guests mentioned that the immediate surrounding area lacked a resort feel.

Very friendly, helpful staff, did extra mile to help us out. Breakfast excellent, nice picturesque environment, comfortable, spacious rooms, quiet area. A bit removed from restaurants and town center. The Yucatan is hot and humid, hence air conditioning is a must-- the Posada was well equipped and comfortable. Those who stay along the beach where ecological standards don't permit air conditioning suffer through the night. Some of our group had that experience, but we were as comfortable as at home in the Posada. We were very happy with our choice.

The location is a bit of a drawback if you don't have a vehicle to get to the restaurants; the area, of course, is very safe, so walking if you are up to it is not a problem.

Posada Yum Kin gave us the mexican getaway experience we were looking for. A lot of love has been put into pyk and you notice it in all of the details, from the gardens to the individually designed rooms. All of the staff members are very kind and extraordinary people. This is definitely a place I would return to in the future!

Posada Yum Kin is a lovely boutique hotel with charming tropical gardens, spacious, clean and attractive rooms, a tasty and nutritious free breakfast and a lovely pool. Its location, literally at the end of the road, is great for anyone who wants to be part of the real life world of Tulum. The hotel rents bicycles and it is fun and easy to get to the many surrounding tourist destinations including several beaches, "cenotes" or underground rivers, Mayan ruins and a lively downtown. PYK offered a friendly and comfortable home base and a chance to explore the many delights of Tulum.

We had a wonderfully peaceful and enjoyable stay at this charming B&B. The staff were friendly and helpful, making us feel right at home. The breakfasts were delicious and the room wasnice and neat. The hotel had a calm and serene atmosphere, perfect for a relaxing getaway. Despite a few noise issues from the neighborhood, we still had a great night's sleep. we highly recommend Posada Yum Kin for a good stay in Tulum.

The staff were excellent, the fellow travellers were interesting, it was a good place to meet other mature travelers(30- 50 age). Another travelling pair visited all the other comparable hotels and commented this hotel as the best value for money.

The rooms are designed around a tranquil garden setting. The rooms are a good size.

The location is rather odd, as it is not in the town centre (about a 15 minute walk to the town), and not near or on the way to the beaches. The on site manager was quite rude and certainly not friendly. We had advised the hotel in advance that we were staying with them for our honeymoon, yet they placed us in a twin share room, so had two single beds. There is also rather limited privacy, as other guests and staff could easily see into our bathroom and main bedroom. Due to the design around the garden, the conversations of other guests in their rooms echoed everywhere and was rather unpeaceful given there were a few families with small children staying whom would cry frequently (which I generally don't have a problem with, unless its very loud and inescapable even in your villa due to the echoing!) The breakfast was also quite poor and unhygenic.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The location on the outskirts of town was perfect for us as we were looking for a quiet and peaceful retreat. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive to our needs. The room amenities were outstanding, with a comfortable sitting area and a dining table where we enjoyed delicious breakfasts each morning. The hotel also had a beautiful outdoor dining area where we could relax and enjoy the fresh fruit juices. The swimming pool was a great addition and provided a refreshing break from the hot weather. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay.

The only downside is that having a car or bike would make getting around easier, but don't let this deter you from choosing this hotel. It is definitely worth it to have a car to explore all that this venue has to offer.

The place is absolutely beautiful! Very nice and relaxing decor. There's a swimming pool and a nice breakfast is included in the price. Quiet & peaceful. The staff were friendly and gracious, also helpful.

The location is OK, but if you don't have a car, it's a bit far from the town & there is nothing immediately around the hotel to do, They DO rent bikes, however!
